Whose this is

This ledger belongs to Cardinal Interiors, Kayla Compton's interior design studio in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It keeps the studio's own records: projects, orders, deliveries, where each box is stored, and the people the studio works with.

Only people the studio has given a login can open it. There is no public sign up.

Google Calendar

If the studio connects Google Calendar, the ledger reads one thing from it: the times the calendar is busy. It uses that so the booking page on cardinalhomeinteriors.com never offers a time that is already taken.

It asks Google for the free and busy times and the email address of the account that was connected, so the settings screen can show which account it is. It never reads the titles, descriptions, guests or locations of any appointment, and it never adds, changes or deletes anything on the calendar.

It keeps the busy start and end times for roughly the next nine weeks and refreshes them every fifteen minutes. The key Google hands back is stored encrypted.

Switching it off

Disconnect on the calendar settings page removes the stored key and deletes every busy time the ledger was holding, straight away.

Access can also be removed from the Google side at any time, under Third-party apps and services in the Google account.

Sharing

Nothing in this ledger is sold, and nothing from it is shared with anyone for advertising. Information from Google is used only to show the booking page when the studio is free.
